Kingsley G. Mar
Kingsley G. Mar has been “Twice the Citizen”, having developed successful careers in serving both the commercial and government sectors.
As a Management Consultant with over 20 years of experience specializing in Information Technologies, Infrastructures, Acquisitions, Mergers, Startups and Turn-Around, he has consulted for MRG, Arthur Anderson, Gerson Lehman Group, and K.G. Mar Consulting. He has held various corporate positions such as CEO, COO, CTO, CFO, V.P and Directorships for mid market through fortune 1000 companies, such as Wells Fargo, Security Pacific, Well Point, Protection One, Arthur Anderson, and Colliers International.
Prior to consulting he developed a strong background in operations, retail and wholesale banking, and has been involved with Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Security Pacific, Sanwa, First Interstate, U.S. Bank, Bank of the West, and several start up banks.
As a Army reservist and civilian contractor, he spent 20 years working with the Department of Defense, and the state department developing IT systems, such as the development, roll out and support systems that automate reserve and active Army headquarters, served as project leader for software development of battle simulation software, which became the Air Land Battle Doctrine that was the directive for Desert Storm. Under the direction of Paul E. Valley, he headed a development team to link the logistical systems of multiple Pacific Rim countries to establish a global logistical system for Friendly and Host Nation Support (FAHNS) which is used by the Civil Affairs units throughout the world, FEMA, and other classified operations.
Kingsley’s education includes a MBA in Business, and an equivalent EE degree from the military. He has held a Top Secret Security Clearance, and has completed many industry accredited courses such as Disaster Management and Planning, Data Security, Failure Analysis, IT Management and Budgeting, Network Architecture, Novell and Microsoft Certifications and various programming languages.
