Russell Nicholls has over 15 years of international business leadership working in small to medium sized companies in the United States and Australia. His hands-on experience and vision for growth and motivating others to change has created a track record of solid accomplishments.

Due to the rapid growth of a family owned graphics distribution company, Russell was brought in as an owner/director to improve the company’s organizational structure and profitability. Russell implemented SAP Business One software and adopted a Balanced Scorecard approach to managing the business. This transferred “everything in the owner’s head” into visible, measurable actions, dramatically improving company wide performance. Revenue and profit doubled in less than two years, and the company was successfully positioned and sold to a Private Equity firm.

Russell’s business turnaround capability is highlighted by his tenacious insight and strategic direction given while consulting at a beverage manufacturer in Southern California. Russell restructured the company which was in Chapter 11 and secured an angel investor by providing a sound operations and financial plan clearly demonstrating how this innovative company could pull through its existing financial troubles. The company is now re-organized and thriving.

Offering a unique blend of strong people skills, combined with financial and operational insight, Russell has made a significant impact on company turnaround and growth.

Russell received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Natal in South Africa where upon completion of his degree he worked for Deloitte and Touche in Durban. Russell lived in California for 12 years where he held a number of senior accounting and operational positions in various companies. He currently resides in Pasadena, California with his wife and two children.
